I received this email from a dear woman whom I worked with on a Saturday Shop and Spa several years ago. Roopa is asking for our help...

Dear Fearless Friends,

I, at this moment have placed my fear aside to ask you for some help. My friend Stephanie’s father was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. Unfortunately, his insurance has maxed out and now he and his family are left to worry about his health and his medical bills. He is currently 60 years old and will not qualify for Medi-Cal until he is 62. Stephanie and her sister must pay for his chemotherapy and medications.

Autumn Piper

Dear Aspire Community,

A few weeks ago I made a big decision - to train for and participate in the Nike Women's Half Marathon in San Francisco on October 21, 2007, and to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I made this decision not only to challenge myself athletically but also to improve the lives of those affected by blood cancer.

A Message from Chrystal Bougon

I am sad to report that one of my friends and consultant, Maritza, had a death in her family last week. Maritza's husband lost his life in an accident last week and I wanted to send you their information and ask you to make a small donation to their 2 year old daughter's college fund. If every one of our customers donated $5.00 to Maritza and Ariyana, we could really help both of them financially.

Heidi Medina

Heide Medina, a wonderful mother, an amazing wife, dedicated school teacher, a shining star in our community and a loving friend. Many are aware of Heide's previous bout with breast cancer just two years ago and witnessed Heide and her amazing attitude carry her through countless doctor visits, surgery and chemotherapy. We were all thrilled and thankful to witness her recovery.

Aids Marathon

Not only is running a marathon an adventure you can also "give back" by participating in a marathon training program fundraiser. Karin trained for and ran the 2006 San Francisco Marathon on July 30, 2006!

This marathon was not only a personal, long time goal for Karin, it is also for a good cause! More than one million Americans, and 40 million others around the world, are living with HIV -- the virus that causes AIDS. With more than 20 million deaths so far, AIDS is now the leading cause of death among all people aged 15 to 59 worldwide. This is why we are proud to proclaim Karin as an aspiring women!
