Dear Fearless Friends,

I, at this moment have placed my fear aside to ask you for some help. My friend Stephanie’s father was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. Unfortunately, his insurance has maxed out and now he and his family are left to worry about his health and his medical bills. He is currently 60 years old and will not qualify for Medi-Cal until he is 62. Stephanie and her sister must pay for his chemotherapy and medications.

They must pay out-of-pocket for two sessions of chemotherapy per week at $320 and $120 for medications every two weeks. That’s a total of $2,800 a month that they must pay aside from household bills. If you can find it in your hearts and pockets to share $5 or whatever you wish, it will definitely help.

You can also help by donating any slightly-used items, for a yard sale we are holding in Stephanie’s family’s name. All proceeds will go directly to Stephanie and her family.

I must add that they are not asking me for help nor do they know I am asking you for help. This is something I feel I must do, so if you can help me help them, I know, that they in the end will be very grateful.
