Laura’s passion for coaching is based on her belief that having a healthy body image and well balanced lifestyle are essential elements of a happy life.

Laura has experienced the benefits of the Aspire Life Coaching Program firsthand and attributes much of her self love and healthy lifestyle to Aspire. Having known the joy that comes from learning to honor and respect your body, Laura also understands fear- the feelings of unworthiness and self doubt that can emerge as we strive for optimum health. Understanding the true benefits of having the long-term support of a coach, Laura has a gift for helping women discover more deeply the beautiful truth of who they really are. Laura has helped dozens of women become more comfortable with their appearance and stick with exercise programs that are right for them. Laura’s clients make lasting health changes in their overall health, fitness and lifestyle from a place of self-respect rather than self sabotage.

Laura's training, education and experience

Laura trained to be a certified coach at the Life Purpose institute of San Diego and received her Masters Degree in Education from the University of Oregon. In addition to completing her certificate of Adventure Education in New Zealand, Laura is a yoga and meditation teacher and Reiki practitioner. Working as a wilderness guide, ropes course facilitator, and teacher- she has spent much of her life guiding. Laura has taught extensively in Oregon Schools and as well as the Eugene River House Outdoor Life Skills Program. Laura is a member of the Oregon Education Association and Nike’s Green Schools Project. She has 7 years of experience facilitating wellness and life growth opportunities for women of all ages.

Laura Rice, the woman

Laura enjoys spending time outdoors, recreating and learning from the natural world. She loves to swim, dance, rock climb, scuba dive, hike and kayak. Laura is a talented artist who enjoys using watercolor, acrylic and mosaic to express her beliefs and beauty in her world. She has a core belief that we are all creative beings and to harness that creativity is to ignite true individuality, strength and spirit.

Although Laura has traveled the world and worked in Thailand, New Zealand and Japan, she has found true peace just walking on the beach at home in California. Family and friends are a priority in Laura’s life. She enjoys living in Santa Cruz, with her loving husband Eric and her two cats.

Laura has completed and assisted with Vision Quest programs and is incredibly grateful for her many teachers all over the world. She holds firmly to her belief that our greatest teacher is inside, and that the Aspire Program is an incredibly effective way to get closer to that inner guide within each of us.

Laura has made it her life purpose to help other women deepen the connection with their own inner guidance system and assist them on their journey towards truth.
